Canare was founded in Nagoya Japan and celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2020. Until now, acoustics had been merely a means of loud speaking to a large audience. However, with the economic growth of society, the demand for music became intense due to the desire to embrace cultural values. It became a very important priority for the masses of people to gather and enjoy good music together.
At that time, with the advent of the band surge, many electronic instruments were used in concert halls, and numerous sound cables were wired haphazardly. To address this problem, we created many innovative products by listening to the feedback of the people who use our products. In addition, we successfully developed a cable for fixed installation that can reduce the noise interference of microphone cables, which was eagerly awaited by the public. This was the first step for Canare to leap forward, as we were recognized not only in Japan but also on the West Coast of the United States.
Since then, we have provided high performance, stable manufactured quality, and product supply, even as the electrical performance of system equipment and devices has continued to improve. As a result of our efforts to accurately understand the needs of our customers and respond to them by manufacturing products that meet their needs, our business model has expanded from audio to video. Furthermore, as technology changes from analog to digital, our product lineup has expanded greatly from cables to connectors to optical transmission devices. It's this customer-first concept that led us to expand our business. Currently, Canare has established the top brand name as a cable and connector manufacturer in the global broadcasting and music markets. We are highly trusted by society as a whole.
